Job Summary

The Accounts Payable function ensures timely and accurate payments, bank debt management and cash management.

Key tasks & Activities

Liquidity Management
- Manages funding to ensure scheduled payments;
- Elaborates short term cash flow forecast;
- Manages intercompany loans in SAP;
- Manages cash pooling.

Budget and Forecast
- Elaborates payment files based on the invoices posted in SAP;
- Analyzes vendor's open items;
- Coordinates with other Logoplaste departments to solve pending issues;
- Liaises with suppliers over invoices queries.

Treasury Postings
- Performs accounting of bank statements, and validated bank balances;
- Performs accounting of payments and receivables, debt, commissions and interests;
- Performs accounting of intercompany bank transfers, and respective interests and commissions;
- Performs month end tasks, such as accruals, deferrals and maturity adjustments.

Who we are looking for…

Background and Experience

Degree in Accounting, management or economics;
2/3 years of experience in equivalent function.

Technical Skills

Proficiency with Microsoft Excel (mandatory);
English language proficiency (mandatory);
Previous experience using SAP (is a plus).

Interpersonal Skills

Critical thinking;
Excellent analytical skills;
Aptitude for process improvement, attention to detail, getting to root cause of problems;
Team spirit.

The Administrative Assistant is responsible for providing administrative support to senior management.

DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES

Greet visitors and employees in a professional manner
Maintain visitor logs and contractor badges
Sort and distribute mail to the appropriate personnel/department
Stock and monitor PPE, office, and cafeteria supplies for reorder
Coordinating UPS Shipments
Filing documents
Prepare correspondence and documents
Conduct new-hire orientation and provide onboarding support
Provide backup payroll and other HR support to Plant Administrator
Conduct physical inventories and assist Logistics Coordinator with reconciliation of discrepancies
Provide production data entry support to Production Manager
Confirm receipt of shipped goods through customer portal
Provide administrative support to all departments
Any other duties as assigned by manager

COMPENTENCIES & QUALIFICATIONS

Must be Bilingual - English/Spanish
Excellent written and verbal communication skills·
Minimum 1 year experience in related field·
Attention to detail and organization; ability to meet deadlines·
Excellent interpersonal skills·
Proficient in Excel, Power Point and Word required; SAP knowledge preferred.

Logoplaste is seeking to recruit an Injection Process Engineer, to join the plant team in Wilkes-Barre, PA (USA).

Key Tasks & Activities...

Set up, repair and troubleshoot equipment, ancillary equipment and support equipment.
Make required mold changes/process adjustments and complete color changes.
Supervise the quality of product in the plant, ensuring that processes and controls produce preforms to the specifications.
Analyse quality and SPC information to ensure robustness of quality systems.
Analyse downtime, scrap and cycle time data and prioritize improvement activities accordingly to positively affect the KPI’s.
Complete preventative maintenance requirements in coordination with the Maintenance Team.
Assist in the training and supervision of the mold change team.
Analyse mold change efficiencies and time using KPI’s to track and gauge performance.
Manage mold and hot runner spare parts and maintain PM program.
Train and document training for employees to ensure they are able to do their job with success.
Promote continuous improvement, through the use of improvement tools including SMED, 5S, Kaizen problem solving, etc.
Participate in the safety processes of the plant.
Comply with all company safety policies and procedures as well as maintain good housekeeping and GMP practices/Global Food Safety practices.
Other duties as assigned by manager.
On call position
Ensure all PM’s schedules are up to date and completed - actively participates in SAP-PM/5S
Verification that all maintenance and calibration programs are up to date
Assist maintenance staff in diagnosing the nature of specific problems involving mechanical, hydraulic, pneumatic, and electrical equipment.

Background and Experience

3-5 years manufacturing experience in plastics technology or a similar technical area; Recognized certification or education in related field preferred
Strong knowledge of HDPE, PET
Strong mechanical aptitude and troubleshooting skills
Must be able to work flexible hours to complete necessary changes and provide support for processing on all shifts
Previous supervisory experience required
Good communication and team building skills
Good working knowledge of computer systems, including MS Office and SAP
Ability to effectively communicate technical system issues
Experience with lean manufacturing processes
Ability to work in a fast pace, lean environment with heat above 90 degrees
Ability to sit, climb, stand, bend, crawl and walk on a varying basis throughout the assigned work schedule
Ability to carry and/or maneuver up to 50 pounds
Ability to clearly communicate technical system issues
Strong mechanical maintenance experience and strong knowledge hand and power tools
Demonstrated understanding of mechanical, pneumatic and hydraulic systems
Good “hands on” working approach
Able to work independently, identify problems and improve
Able to work flexible and/or extended hours and weekends as business demands

Job Summary

Will be responsible to ensure the compliance of the purchasing adminstrative process of the procurement to pay process. Check the reason why there is invoice discrepancies with PO or invoices without PO's and take the necessary actions by contacting internal stakeholders or directly the supplier to solve the issues. Runs reports of the procurement to pay process in a daily basis. Ensure that PO creators follow the PO creation compliance rules and analyse root cause analysis of the repetitive erros of the procurement to pay process.

Key tasks & Activities:

Supports the purchasing function in the plants:

Verifies PO compliance, and Incorrect PO creation should contact PO creator and explain the right procedure
Contacts suppliers if invoice is incorrrect and ask for credit notes.
Verifies and implements VIM (SAP Invoice Management) rules and procedures

PO Compliance

Manages requests and conducts quality checks related to the ordering and invoice process
Invoice with PO; PO creation after invoice date; PO not submitted; Threshold and approvals not respect
Analyses Root cause and implements improvement

Collects and assesses data related to blocked invoices

Records and analyzes the most frequent reasons for blocked invoices
Suggests and implements action plans to solve the most frequent errors

VIM rules and procedures

Develops process documentations and conducts trainings
Develops and conduct short trainings or any other solution to improve the knowledge of the PO's creators about the rules in place to reduce erros

Who we are looking for…

Background and Experience

Bachelor`s degree.
Minimum 2 years of experience in admin purchasing or related areas.

Technical Skills

Solid understanding of best practice procurement to pay techniques.
Fluent in English & Portuguese (mandatory), further European languages desirable.
Advanced knowledge of MS office tools and SAP knowledge will be highly valued.

Interpersonal Skills

Good verbal and written communication skills and the ability to interact professionally with a diverse groups, managers, and subject matter experts;
Team player and flexible with a proactive and collaborative attitude;
